Sensational Charles Kangwana!

Our media platform have been resurfaced by the young rising boy and journalist to be, Charles Kangwana. Despite his background and various life constraints not forgetting various resources and instruments required to start and run media platforms, the boy has grown to be known. Today we shall try to dig the story of Charles Kangwana.

While at the interview with Nyamwembe Denis of Tamba show the young boy revealed that his real name is Charles Onkoba Onkui. He was born in Mosora,Nyamache sub-county in Kisii. Born on October,2004. He comes from a humble background where her mother does odd jobs like digging people’s farms for a little pay, this caters for his schooling, clothing and other basic necessities.

Charles Kangwana studied his primary school in the year 2006 at M.T Carmel, a private school in Mosora, he later moved to Center for grace champions where he completed his primary studies. He joined Mosora secondary school where his journalism talent grew to greater level. Immediately he was made the deputy chairperson of journalism club because he was much skilled and more passionate. He later became the chairperson, reading news to the school during the assemblies, this included commentating sports and also news. The had already formed Mosora Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in the school.

The boy is known for his well spoken Swahili which he attributes to his teachers and various media personalities he has met. In addition he says that the eager for journalism has made him to learn Swahili much more because he has passion of becoming a Swahili news anchor.

He says that he was sometimes mocked by people. This is because he usually imitated sports commentators of the time while on his way to and from the market. But he actually says that it pushed him much more.

He says that the scripts he reads during his live videos are from credible media organization and also personalities.

Charles Kangwana advises youngsters to use the limited resources they have to start. He himself started; with a bulb- Microphone Box- Laptop and bed sheets to make his house look same as studio. He also thanks his parents for reacting positively to his passion despite of their poor condition. Kan

Kangwana also gives credit to Hassan Kauleni of Radio Maisha and Presenter Kai for sharing his videos and also giving him platform to showcase his talent and ability. To all fans I thank you also.

Charles Kangwana says that he won’t compete with anybody because he will build himself differently. He says that those who compete remain backward and they should instead build each other.

Charles Kangwana assures the world that Kangwana Media will be big, with no competition.
